Vermont Tinworks Lori King All of the tinware is handcrafted in the same meticulous manner, using only the hand tools of the bygone tinsmith. Initially, patterns are drawn on paper, cut out, then scribed on to the tinplate where it is hand cut, then pieces put aside for punching, bending and soldering. Most of the bending is done by hammering around steel stakes, using a hickory mallet. I am continuing this old tradition to perpetuate these unique and original designs. 27 Hiawatha Avenue (802) 391-6306 2022 CRAFT VERMONT Booth 0 in the Emerald Room upstairs. |
